There may be guests there during your stay. The Nest is about fifty feet down the path from the main house. They are far enough apart and oriented in such a way that privacy for all is maintained. The Nest rear deck is partially visible from areas of the main house. If for whatever reason guests at Ridgeview are making your stay anything less than peaceful, please contact us and we will see to it that they respect your quiet enjoyment of the property. Cleaning & Sanitization - Health, safety, and well-being of our guests are of utmost importance. For this reason, we use a thorough cleaning process after each check-out. Not Pets Allowes - We love those little (and not so little) furry bundles of joy. Sadly, our home is not suitable for accommodating them. No Smoking Inside - Please refrain from smoking inside the home! Any smoking evidence will result in a fee for odor removal and furniture cleaning. No Parties/Events - We kindly ask you to treat our home as your own to preserve its pristine condition for future guests and your return visits. The minimum age to book is 25 years old. - No Pets Allowed: I love animals and we know you love yours, but the wear and tear on the home is too much for us to absorb. - Extra cleaning fees to remove odor and stains will be applied if a pet of any kind is brought to the home. - No smoking inside the home: Extra cleaning fees to remove odor and stains will be applied. If you do choose to smoke outside the home, please do not leave any evidence and do so with care to prevent fires. - We know accidents happen: Please report any accidental damages before checking out so that we can fix anything prior to the next guest’s arrival. - If you break a dish, it happens, just let us know so we can order a new one. - Please don’t accidentally (or intentionally) take any of the home contents with you, including but not limited to towels, sheets, dinnerware, etc. - If guest-caused damage is not covered by our insurance or exceeds the security deposit (if applicable), the cost will be billed to the guests. - There is absolutely no hunting of any kind allowed on the property. As for fishing, there is a pond that is stocked with a variety of panfish and even some small bass. Feel free to bring your gear for the kids to have some fun, but please respect the animals and release them without harming them. The entire home and access to the 26 acres of nature is included in this rental so make yourself at home. PLEASE NOTE: To get to The Nest, guests will need to walk down a gravel/mulch path that is on a slight decline...incline on the way back up. If you are only stable walking on flat surfaces, it may be difficult to get to and from The Nest. PLEASE NOTE that we have a 2nd home on the property that is also available to rent called Ridgeview. Such a peaceful, cozy little cabin with a great modern feel. Ian and StaywithBranch were friendly, proactive, and very responsive. The easy to follow directions made finding the house easy. The location is amazing, a quick 8 minute drive into town but otherwise tucked away for peace, quiet, and privacy. We loved the well stocked kitchen, cozy living room, private deck with hot tub, and had a lot of fun with the record player. Everything was spotless and matched the pictures. We will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Ian’s place. The hosts provided fun and silly games for couples and a record player with a wide variety of records for time spent indoors. The soaking tub and hot tub were relaxing after long winter hikes. The home was very clean and decorated for the holidays, which was a nice touch. The hosts even welcomed us with gingerbread cookies from a local cafe. The location was close to downtown with a variety of shops and cafes (including a cat cafe where we got to play with cats). Thanks again for an amazing experience!

Find us

Unless you own a helicopter, I recommend getting around by car or preferably SUV. The last ½ mile or so are on a single-lane gravel road. In the winter, AWD is highly recommended. The home is beautiful in the snow, but getting there through the snow without AWD is not.
